From the beginning
A story that began in the summer of 2007, the first chapter for Experimental. A bar tucked away, the beginning of the cocktail renaissance in Paris inspired by New York's clandestine cocktail bars of the time. Today, the story continues across cities from London, Paris and New York, to Venice, Verbier and Val d'Isère and finally, the Cotswolds.

Off the beaten track, a beachside restaurant overlooks the sea. On the coast of Comporta, a restaurant emerges from the white sand dunes as if a mirage. The first chapter of our story, a cocktail bar inspired by New York’s iconic speakeasies. A cosy bar that speaks volumes, telling tales of Paris’ cocktail renaissance that began in 2007 with a distinctly French touch. A genuine landmark in the 2nd arrondissement for cocktail lovers, a place where the Experimental journey laid its first roots.

Perched above Chinatown, overlooking the streets below. A cocktail bar plucked from the 1920s, a cinematic vision of designer Dorothée Meilichzon. Every evening, lights dimmed and music up, a journey accompanied by an acoustic set, vinyl records or deep house as the night continues. A hidden lounge where conversation, rhythm and craft blend.
