From the beginning

A story that began in the summer of 2007, the first chapter for Experimental. A bar tucked away, the beginning of the cocktail renaissance in Paris inspired by New York's clandestine cocktail bars of the time. Today, the story continues across cities from London, Paris and New York, to Venice, Verbier and Val d'Isère and finally, the Cotswolds.
La Compagnie Neal's Yard
A hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Covent Garden, moments from Soho. An invitation to discover hard-to-find wine from small producers. A terrace unfolds, heated in winter months and warmed by the sun in the summer. Inside, two floors where low-slung sofas beckon for an afternoon or evening over French wine and small plates to share.
STEREO
A subterranean refuge beneath Covent Garden inspired by the late-night culture of New York and London offering a curated mix of entertainment from cocktails and live music to food. A spectacular central bar welcomes guests, a stage for live music invites them to stay a little longer. A place to arrive for an aperitif and dance into the early hours.
Henri
Behind the wooden door at 14-15 Henrietta Street, a restaurant unfolds. A tribute to the classic French bistro, interpreted by British chef Jackson Boxer. Each meal, a choreographed performance across herringbone floors, serving beautiful dishes onto tables clothed in white, as candlelight flickers and laughter drifts from table to table.
Experimental Chalet Spa by Biologique Recherche
A haven for relaxation, a pure tonic for the soul hidden away in the Swiss Alps. Three treatment rooms where muscles are restored and complexions made to glow. A hammam and sauna inside, with doors opening to a terrace where a hot tub and cold plunge await to enhance recovery after a day spent skiing, hiking or cycling.
Experimental Chalet Verbier
Facing the iconic beauty of the Grand Combin from the front and Verbier's pristine slopes from the back, our hotel and spa is an oasis in the Alps. Winters are spent on groomed slopes and challenging pistes beneath blue skies. A day well spent in fresh powder calls for an evening reserved for pure indulgence. Fireside cocktails at Experimental Cocktail Club to begin, dinner with friends at Le St Bernard to follow. A moment to pause at the spa, where massages melt sore muscles, a cold plunge reawakens the soul and the sauna offers a warm cocoon. And finally, the night culminates to the sounds of resident DJs at The Farm, a Verbier institution.
St Bernard
A genuine tribute to an Alpine table. A generous nod to the mountains reimagined as a contemporary chalet restaurant. Chef Rudy Ballin’s menu is rooted in Valais culture, from mountain cheeses and local meats to seasonal vegetables and Swiss wine. A prelude to an evening spent dancing, a respite after a day spent exploring Verbier’s peaks.
Nights tucked away behind hidden doors
Behind unassuming doors, the sound of cocktails behind shaken, the hum of music in the air. A menu that boasts a delicate balance of classic cocktails and Experimental twists. The night beckons.
Behind the cocktail bar
Tucked away inside, a space that mirrors each city. A design steeped in history, a tribute to what came before with a nod to New York. An evening whisked away by cocktails, be it classic, vintage or something new. A moment hidden away in New York, Paris, London and Venice. A cocktail sipped at altitude in Verbier and Val d'Isère. A drink sipped by the fire in the Cotswolds. Each place uniquely different.
